Project Information
The Newark Museum of Art enlisted VIDOUN to handle media relations for the reopening of The Ballantine House, a gilded age mansion on the museum’s campus. The curators at the museum have re-envisioned the house as a place to tell the stories of the diverse communities that made up Newark when the house was built as well as a place for the current citizens to see themselves represented. VIDOUN was able to land a major feature in The New York Times, and a portfolio on the house in Architectural Digest as well as broadcast and local stories. The agency was also tapped to create advertising assets and organize the photography of the house by Stephen Kent Johnson. VIDOUN introduced the museum leadership to Campfire, a partner agency run by Katherine Bishop, former Deputy Director at The Museum of Modern Art that advises non profits on development.
